The trend of legalizing marijuana, whether for medicinal or recreational use, has identified a need for additional law enforcement training on marijuana. With this trend, it can be assumed officers will contact more individuals who have consumed marijuana products.
 
This training consists of:
1. Cannabis Impairment and SFSTs.
2. Cannabis Metabolization and Chemical Test Results.
3. Cannabis Green Lab.
 
This course is POST-approved for Missouri law enforcement.  Officers will receive 2 hours of technical studies and 4 hours of skill development. 
 
This training will be held on May 7th,  at the Joplin Police Department Training Center, 5102 N. Swede Ln. Webb City, MO, 64870. Once enrolled, each student will receive a link with further details.
